A reduction on local government rates to the lesser of the capped amount or 30% is available as of 1 July each year.

Eligibility:

  • Hold an eligible concession card. Please note, DVA Veteran Card - All Conditions must be printed TPI or War Widow in accordance with the Local Government (Rates and Charges Remissions) Regulations 2014.
  • Reside at the property as their principal place of residence.
  • Is legally responsible to the council for the rates of the property.
