Tasmania Companion Card

Eligibility

The Tasmanian Companion Card is available to people who require a companion to attend community facilities, activities and events. This card allows the holder to receive a free second ticket for their companion carer from participating businesses and organisations. The Companion Card is part of a national program, and the logo is used in all State and Territories.

Tasmanian residents may be eligible for the Companion Card if they:

  • have a permanent disability, and
  • due to the impact of their disability, require significant attendant care support to participate at most community facilities, activities and events.
