Energy Bill Relief Fund Extension

The Australian Government has extended the Energy Bill Relief Fund in 2025-26 to all Tasmanian households. There are no concession requirements.

Two quarterly bill discounts of $75, up to a maximum amount of $150, will be applied to all residential accounts throughout the first half of 2025-26.

Households will receive their rebates automatically from their retailer through their electricity bill.

If you are on an embedded network you are still eligible and will need to apply for the rebate as a grant payment through the Department of State Growth.
