Eligibility for the Department of Human Services Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) is determined by the Department of Human Services (DHS).
You may be eligible to hold a DHS PCC if you meet residence requirements and if you receive any of these payments:
You may be eligible for a DHS PCC if you are aged over 60, and have been receiving certain allowances or benefits for more than nine months.
You may also be eligible for a DHS PCC if you have a partial capacity to work and are receiving a certain payment or are the principal carer of a dependent child.

An allowance of $56 a year is made to eligible pensioners to assist
with heating costs. Payments of $28 are made in May and September.
